Fiery the angels fell.
So you're saying he's Silly Bob? Because he rarely talks the few things he does say are weighted with importance?

Dear io9: please run a story on the following fan-made World War Z reenactment which is *movie-quality* in it's performance. It's basically what the movie should be: McNamara's "Fog of War" documentary about Vietnam....but with zombies. That is, the movie should basically be the UN interviewer, 10 years after the…
I can see this working...think about it, how far removed is this from "Cleopatra 2025" or "Lexx" in terms of tongue-in-cheekness? That is, if the writing is done well. Everything's great with good writers.
Seriously true: I frequently find myself reciting the "Engage the Silent Drive" speech from "The Hunt for Red October". Maybe it's because of all the water. (Now the rules are different, now WE have the AD-VAN-TAGE!)
Those buffoons made Young Justice go on break for months at a time...even though the creators said there was no logical reason because there was an episode BACKLOG...and then they got surprised that action figure sales were down for a show they never air?!
Ironically, they even FILMED an alternate take where she chose not to take the cure (it's in the deleted scenes; it plays out much the same way, just that this time she HAS a glove on her hand when she grasps his).
Yeah, Shadowcat was really "Other Darren" in the films (a different actor in each, albeit it was basically a cameo shout out to the comics in the first 2 movies). Funny, I didn't think Ellen Page was used enough in X3....then again it was so overstuffed that no one was (Shadowcat took time away from Rogue...but even…
...."thanks for letting them live?" I detect a HINT of SARCASM at how Ratner pointlessly killed off many characters...by which I mean *inexplicably* killed them off. Just shoving Cyclops and Prof. Xavier under the bus.
Remember back when Rogue was arguably the "main" or "viewpoint" character? Well Logan too, but they paired them up in X1 back in 2000. And while Rogue didn't get *that* much to do in X2, at least the first half or so of the movie had her prominently in it (though it shifted more to Wolverine). Yet by X3, she was…
Wow.
So it would appear that Ron Moore's repeated attempts to horn in on the Western genre have failed yet again?
Need I remind you all that Keanu Reeves is half-Chinese?
This is why I put a piece of electrical tape over the built-in webcam in my laptop. It really isn't that complicated of a fix. (that and I don't use TRENDet specifically)
Thanks for making io9. I'm terrified that one day I'm going to wake up to find that Gawker fired your entire staff because they wanted a more "edgy" tone, like what happened to Jezebel.
I think there are problems too, mixed with good ideas. It's hard for me to verbalize what the problems are....given that normally, "inability to develop long-term storylines" is usually the biggest problem facing a show. I think that the best I can summarize is "they've been forcing the character development along".…
Thank you for investing the time to make this report Charlie Jane, I've had the post-Fringe blues really bad and this really helped. You guide the rest of us in these troubled times. Well I don't think it's fair to discredit all of "fantasy" anymore than "scifi" (I consider "Scifi" an umbrella term) — anymore than…
God help us all.
What scifi TV do we watch now, Charlie Jane? We look to you for sage guidance, I mean that. I didn't think I'd be this sad to see Fringe go. What the heck else is there? (maybe Defiance, maybe...)
