Remember how all the female characters self-imploded in season 3? To the point that a female fan wrote a particularly damning essay on their official forum, the now-infamous "The Reduced Role of Women in BSG Season 3", which even the writers hopped onto the forum to respond to.

Charlie, I respect your position but fundamentally, what you're saying is "I miss what RDM used to be" not "I wish we had more of what he became".

I'm tired of ghost story after ghost story, paranormal show after paranormal show (vampire shows are okay, I mean this ghosts and such stuff they make on the cheap).

Simply *reading* about the snuff final scene of the film was enough to deeply disturb me; I mean in the sense that I was actually involuntarily shuddering; that *isn't* a compliment and should not be taken as one — maybe they were being self-referential about how "Horror genre" is itself "gore porn" of a sort.

    Now playing

Moray Eels quite literally have a second set of inner jaws, mounted on a proboscis...like the Xenomorph in "Alien".

    God help us all.

In an odd way, I admire his purity: a survivor - unclouded by conscience, remorse, or delusions of morality.

Bathrooms are a no-man's land. You don't keep personal objects in there, and nothing you don't want soiled.

Its a sad day when we can't rely on local county-level print newspapers for journalistic integrity.

I'm a medieval history graduate student; we actually see this kind of stuff all the time. Well, I don't personally do heavy manuscript research, but the symposium panels I've been to on it are amazing:

1 - I don't see how this show has anything to do with hipsters, their emo "new bohemian" motifs or anything. Society owes them nothing, and neither does this show.
