    Mr. President, we must not allow, a Rifftracks Gap!

    @mrsjakeryan: Yeah I was there start to finish when that happened; at least, the writers never intended that, purely the network's fault.

    @numbergal_27: That's right! Well, granted, "Far Beyond the Stars" also did, but it wasn't in the "normal" timeframe.

    @ilovemaps: I'm a heterosexual male. I was raised by she-wolves.

    somedays, Fate is kind

    Now playing

    @V: furthermore, for those of you criticizing that I preferred Deep Space Nine and that Benjamin Sisko is my favorite captain....I will learn to live with it. Because I *can* live with it. I can live with it.

    Well there's actually a lot of backstory on the whole issue of "why didn't Star Trek do an LGBT issue episode?"

    But they're from 2 different worlds! He's Marvel comics, she's DC comics!

    There was actually talk of allowing polygamy in Britain after the massive losses of young men in World War I: it was, indeed, "the Lost Generation", and this entire 20 year age range was nearly wiped out. I don't think any of this talk really got that far, but the fact that a few seriously proposed this

    @glwtta: I salute you, sir.

    Deep Space Nine was the best Trek of all.

    @Captain_Tripps: after season 3 got underway....RDM's BSG *became* the Other Show!! (Starts weeping)

    @Captain_Tripps: The character played by Lorne Greene on that other show, has few if any of the character traits or developments which form the personality of the character portrayed by Edward James Olmos.

    @blareruin: We're not going to actually ask that much about stuff you can't talk about (other than possibly a generic "what were things that Khara was very insistent had to be rendered into English in a certain way"? For example, the ADV people later openly said that Gainax did things like send them a note saying

    1 - information acting on the "past" particle will affect the one in the "future", correct?

    @blareruin: okay; well just to be sure, can I send you my questions? I think they're pretty generic and that way you'd know in advance if they were things the studio won't let you talk about (you can simply refuse to answer things that are "sensitive")...well contact me over at the facebook page...

    @V: Okay I'm actually looking through Genevieve Petty's "award winning" 2004 essay (award winning from who? I didn't, we didn't) :

    I run the Evangelion fansite ReVolutionOfEvangelion.org and there are several dissenting points I must make:

    This is like some awful spaghetti Western. They cast an Italian to play a role originated by a Hispanic!
