I have in fact heard of this program. I'd just never really knew what it was called at the time. And I have seen a lot of good work from it.

Sure, it's not always consistent from one frame to another, it's not very smooth, there are coloring errors everywhere, etc., but all of these imperfections make it more enjoyable to watch.
