Did you seriously feel a need to write this article? Why? Whether a small development studio is all male or all female or what-have-you does not matter. Your statement of, “So, presumably, the founder had met at least a couple of women who were skilled enough to work at one of the highest-profile video game companies

For people who don’t agree with giving in to the constant whining of philistines.

it still doesnt exist. yet.

It’s a good one.

You can’t just add a bunch of database servers as a solution. There will always be a primary database which is reading/writing, and you can have replicas (like the regional ones who update the core database). You can add, for the sake of diminsh load over the primary database, a read-replica, but it’s always behind

belive it or not, according to the tweets at least, this ‘clean up ‘ of wow was entirely at the discretion of the same employees that many of which were victims of said problems. basically? they are using the problems at blizzard as a opportunity to ‘clean up’ the game so to speak while the higher ups are doing things

actually this isnt entirely blizzards decsion. basically it came out that the devs, many of which were the victims of the problems in the company, are the ones doing this because they are using the situation as a opportunity to ‘clean up’ the game so to speak.

On the one hand, it’s still fairly subtle.

while I do agree with the article...isnt one of the big points of GTA is to be as deliberately offensive as possible to everything and everyone? kinda like south park? I honestly dont play much GTA so I wouldn’t know fully but watching people play it hearing the radio and such I get that impression that its kinda ment

considering the lions head of the sexual harassment was on activison’s end (like the infamous suicide due to shared nudes at a party? Call of Duty devs I believe) I dont really think that would work.

The general sentiment I’ve seen posted by developers is that boycotting the games doesn’t hurt AB nearly as much as it hurts the developers. Not buying their games is saying “We know you’re abused, and we support you, so we’re going to put your job at risk by not buying the game you poured your blood and tears into.”

If the whole premise is owning the game long term then you don’t get to list selling it as a bonus”

Can you sell your digital copy? No? Then you don't own it.

You saw how Sony was about to shut down the PSP/Vita/PS3 stores earlier this year, right? And then the uproar that followed forced them to keep two of the three accessible, at least for now.

It’s not idiotic just because you aren’t smart enough to understand it.

Sad part is, it’s actually a good game, it’s just not what people were expecting. After putting 20-odd hours into The Ascent, I reinstalled CP2077 and have been having a blast with it.

I don’t think there’s much to worry about with Asmon honestly. He seems to be genuinely enjoying himself, and if he has an axe to grind on gameplay, he can join the club with the healers and half the tanks in being perturbed.

What I’ve seen from him he didn’t bad mouth FFXIV, just that he was being annoyed by people constantly telling him to try it when he had no interest in it.
