The Elcat is pretty rare and special. Older non-popular cars are also a great way to be an enthusiast on the cheap. He bought a $1000 Lotus. A same time frame Esprit in the same shape would have been 3 times more pretty easily. Non-popular and rough state cars like these are a great way to get your kicks cheaply.

An old Europa? How about Esprit Turbo at least 15 years younger. I bought my Esprit for $15.5. Will probably be selling it in the next few year for the same. I've driven it, making it worth-less but the inflation rates has about match perceived decrease in value.

Cool thanks for the update man.

That sucks, luckly I didn't do as much GT5 DLC as I did Forza 4. I avoid GT5 DLC because their whole DLC system was clunky. Hopefully that has been smoothed out in the GT6. I think they works on GT5 a lot in that area, but I had already been turned off.

Why are they using an old engine name? The LT4 is not that old and now when talking to people about engines you have to clarify if it is the old or new LT4, which or completely different engines. Hell the first LT4 wasn't even that great.

Let's make a new four cylinder and call it the Iron Duke.

Does DLC move over from GT5? I have a bunch some GT5 stuff and that would be great if it pulled over.

Really I think the G35 Coupe, Genesis Coupe or the Starion should take position 9. These cars were/are cross shopped with the Mustang. Yeah with this new 'Stang the BMW may be comparable, but we can't tell the future.

Haha Jalop-failed.

What a modern four-cylinder turbo engine does is force denser and colder air into that cylinder at a higher compression, yielding an explosion that's just as big but uses less fuel. That's a bit of a simplification, but you get the idea.

Have one, project car 6.5 years and going. Got it on the road reliably this summer. Stupid fun car. The picture is not mine, but like 50%+ of them out there mine is the same red.

Want a little more fuel

I agree that the later 4 seaters were. But the 2 seaters were in a different realm. They really killed the British sports car market in the states. But the Later ZX certainly was cross shopped with the Mustang.

Starquest Anyone?

I'd argue with you on that. The GT has low polar momentum, where as the Viper is a bit less likely to turn into a spinning top. Also the is a huge power difference both in amount and delivery. I'd guess also that some of the safety built into the GT had been bypassed in its tuning.

Step one: Own a Starquest!!!

It look sort of awkward on track, like it is just too big. Almost like it is a 1980's Japanese comic supercar; Highspeed looks but bulky in real life. I know they weren't pushing the car. Certainly it is fast, but you can't help but think that engine would be so much better in one of Lambo's tighter cars.

About damn time. Seriously they have nothing to offer.

The CRZ HPD? BAhahaha
Civic Si? Only if you like expensive, slow cars about the size of a 90's Accord.

Honda is getting to the point of being irreverent in any performance measure, at least on the car side.

Meh, the Anglicization of words from other languages happens. I think it is fine to just go with it as fighting it isn't really worth it. I silence the "e" in Porsche. I say "Abarth" rather than "Abart". I think there a better things to worry about than how you say it. While the original pronunciation is certainly a

Good on you Chris.

A Mazda (Mazda5 GT) in 2011 as a wife and family car and love it. Looking to buy a Mazda2 Touring soon as my daily. They are great cars that stick a good balance between price and quality. When we bought out 5 there was talk of a possible exit of the North American market. Glad to see them healthy.
