Also, trying saying this "I have a Volvo C30". Now try thinking what that tells someone who knows nothing about cars. They didn't see your car, they have know idea what you said and fell asleep after you said Volvo. You are now boring. The car itself is pretty cool, Volvo failed it. Too expensive, to automatic…
Yeah, I guess my line of thinking was cool but failed to come accross as cool.
I guess it failed not at being cool, there is a big coolness factor, but rather as an idea. You are left with the question of why did they make it fail. It failed to move; It failed to sell.
It would be like if Tom Cruise stayed with his birth name "Thomas Mapother IV", didn't do Top Gun, passed on the chance to be in…
Volvo tried to be cool then it Volvoed all over itself. That is what made it fail at being cool. There are cool aspects of the car; That is I why I had interest in what they cost. I agree the car itself was cool, but it is more cool for your mom. It could have been a truly cool car but it was almost like a campaign…
Volvo C30. It had lots going for it. A turbo 5 cylinder. Simular size to a Mini, but better looking. It was basicly a Euro Forcus ST for the US.
Those are examples of building, not researching. It is a bit different.
I'm not anti-research, but I think with government money they end up playing the game of picking winners and they aren't good at that. E-85 for example.
I never expect oil companies to kill their cow. But at some point they aren't going to be able…
Looking at online photos I think it is just the body lines on the C-max that make it look smaller. Loss of the van doors sort of sucks as I really like sliding doors with children.
That's what the things I have been reading are saying and it is smaller than my Mazda5. But perhaps they are wrong. I knew the Euro C-max used to be Focus based.
We nearly held out for the C-Max to come to the Us, I'm glad we didn't. From all accounts it seems made more cheaply insdie and the hybrid only thing, I'm…
All I have seen is a price tag and a way to pay for it. Where is the plan again? I'm not a hardcore support or critic of the President, the fact is it is a big pile of money that I don't think will accomplish any goal.
I'm not a fan of expanding our oil use and I want to keep ours in the ground as long as we can. That said though he is asking for money and is money really the problem? Will 2 billion actually move MPG one bit or will it be another poorly managed government fund. I'm all about being ready for future, but investing…
Don't be such a tall freak!!!
Just joking. Most of my friends are about that height and that is a say I deliver to them often. Yeah, I can see them being a tight fit for taller folks. But I'm not sure the new Ford will be much better there.
Yeah we got the GT here too. Man for 25K I don't think you can get much nicer if you are seating 4. Sure there are some cost cutting things you run into owning the car, but they had to do something to make the price point.
I know the euro C-max was on the same platform, but everything I'm seeing about the C-max now in the US is saying it shares the Fiesta Platform. I can believe that as it is smaller than the 5. The 5 is the Mazda3 (last gen eurofocus) platform.
Why not Mazda 5?
The Mazda5 is awesome. While they don't offer the more Jalop friendly manual on the top end models, they are great vehicles. Based on the greeat Mazda3 chasis, it handles really well. It isn't fast, but it can leave lots of unsuspecting people surprized if they try to keep pace down a mountain road.
I…
You can hear the guy heart break after it hits the guard rail. So sad for him.
