So importing old, rare JDM cars that weren't crash tested in US labs = Illegal, because we care about drivers safety and will stand in the way of people wanting to do probably safe, but untested things.

TG:USA is better than any other US made, car show on a TV network that I know of. "The Car Show" was a good try, but was too rigid. Yes, TG:USA steals it's style and many of the show's topics straight from the UK show; But name a better, US made car show.
Hate all you want. TG:USA is still better than 9/10th the other shit that is on TV. And I have to admit that their best episodes are solid enough to challenge all but the best UK ones. So it isn't TG:UK. Who cares, it is awesome show by itself.
305 California Corvette
NASCAR!
CP, and I love starions. I own and '86 same year as this car; Same color even. But $6K is a lot of money for one. 1-2K less is probably about right. $5K if you trust the rebuild, but if you doubt it at all $4K. This car has quite a few extras, but it is still running the stock turbo. I love the car, just bit high.
Sort of think saying "not just the attractive ones" and posting Leena Gade doesn't quiet work. First, I'd feel bad if she read that, because it is not true. I think she is attractive; She is cute. Doubly so because she has both a pretty face and is a motorsport engineer. If I were single, I would be interested in both…
?????
Meh. Still like the original the most. These offer nothing original or outstanding. Hell you don't even get to see her much.
It would get better, but not a lot better. Driving at steady speed the weight of the vehicle has little to do with it fuel economy. Hills and turns can lower it, but as we all know an object in motion will stay in motion. The largest expense of fuel at highway speeds is air resistance.
The they tow a bit slower than what we do here. We expect everything to run the speed limit (65-75MPH). Surely you could avoid the interstate, but in many places you can't (unlike most of the UK). I live in the Southwest where many cities are only connected by interstate and the altitude sucks the power out of engines…
I think you are short changing the Prius by only seeing them as a hybrid. What you say is correct, the hybrid system is not well used on the interstate. But they are also very slick. You could remove all of the hybrid system from the Prius and it would still get great mileage. You'd get that high interstate MPG even…
I will admit. I have thought about this a lot. I have a round trip commute of 2 hours. I have started car pooling. I'd gladly exercise that 2 hours when I don't drive. It would mean that I'd save myself the time I spend in the gym for that week. Seriously someone make this.
Is it just me, or do others want to kick anyone wearing a bag in that manner? I'm an adult and I would never do this because I'd imagine that a group of bigger people will show up and give me a wedgie for looking so dumb; And that wedgie would be justified.
Yeah, I'm needing to go in and replace switches and I'm planning on setting up a relay system. The Citroen switches certainly have quality issues as well.
So the top musclecar is a pony car? I voted 442. The 429 I can understand, but the other weren't really muscle.
Haha, yeah I swap a coolant tank 4 months ago and I still have bubbles burbing out from time to time. Granted it has been winter, but it is stupid. Most car are completely bubble free in days.
Lotus Esprit power window switches '88-??
BMW cooling systems. Plastic impeller, plastic radiator endtanks, plastic thermostat housing, weak water pump bearings, weak coolant reservoir.
I've always thought it was modeled on this guy.
