Yes, and I'm not saying that his review is not worth reading or lacks merit. I just would also like to hear from someone who didn't enjoy Far Cry 2 to see how they compare.

Not trying to be a jerk here, but can we hear from another editor who isn't such a fan of Far Cry 2? I feel like I can't take this review at face value, since I (and from what I gather, the majority of other people) really disliked Far Cry 2.

I'd argue it is a horror game, though perhaps not in the traditional sense. Failure means the end of the world, and you get to see countries slip away one by one into anarchy. It's horror a la "On The Beach".
