A lot of "realistic" stuff that would otherwise be in games gets taken out because testing reveals that it's not FUN.

In no way is that what is implied there. Why would Rockstar hire you as an artist if you aren't passionate about their games and design ethos?

Isn't "zoning" important in all fighting games, not just Smash? I don't really see how this concept is Smash-specific.

How does this protect IP rights again?

Probably just as often, because that IS news in the gaming world? Do you pay attention? Do you have any idea how much publicity a project gets when it gets a cease and desist? On this very website?

It sounded like you were calling it a scam. So I mentioned there are other legitimate sites with the same rules.

Indiegogo, or Gofundme, I can't remember which, has the same rules.

>or what's happening with the funds they received from people who won't be getting the game they supported financially

You mean from the Kickstarter? They just.. won't be charged. Right? Unless I'm missing something?

Highly unlikely.

His job is to moderate the subreddit, taking it down arbitrarily is not "moderating". Reddit is a community site and if the community wanted to protest, then that would be fine. But taking it down against the wishes of your users, just because you're mad that you can't get into the game, is ridiculous.

I disagree,

Wouldn't new races/classes in theory prompt MORE people to try the expansion? Why does the absence of new races/classes lead to longer queues?

Is it really that hard for him to understand that the portals have to be in her line of sight?

And X's chair obviously wasn't made just to get up and down the stairs of the ship, god damnit I hate CinemaSins. Almost none of these are legitimate complaints.

So do you think this footage really took that long to make? That it tied him up so much that it will impact FF15 at all?

In the end, who cares? Square Enix doesn't owe you anything, and they're allowed to make whatever they want. Nomura is allowed to make whatever he wants. If he wants to pursue a small project for

Why do they need an excuse? Creators will create, and consumers will consume. When it stops being what people want, they'll stop making it.

I'm not sure how you can see that.

Nomura is an art designer. What makes you think that him doing side projects is keeping games from getting finished? What is it you think he DOES at Square Enix?

I think we can all recognize hyperbole when we see it. Or, we should.

In this analogy, the gun makers would be the movie studios. The people getting arrested would be the guys running a pawn shop allowing people to trade/buy/sell goods anonymously, which resulted in the traffic of unregistered or stolen firearms. Maybe they don't explicitly condone it or partake in it, but they allow

They "knowingly contributed" to illegal copyright infringement, I guess, even if they didn't explicitly partake in it.

Do you actually think they had people taken off the FF15 team to work on this?
