Don’t forget about the diesel requirement too.

They’re even harder to tell at night now that all of the Explorers and Police Interceptor Utility models have LED headlights.

That’s the most I see on the dealer lots  Tuxedo Black Metallic.

Woo Hoo, another NG 9-5 owner! This is my 2011 no-options 9-5 when it was new. Not sure it qualifies as “normal” though. Definitely hard to replace.

I noticed the fixed rear door window shape..

Looks like that’s actually a 940, they’re so similar you have to know the details.

Then the dealer with the poor attitude gets a review like this....

So basically like a mini Panamera?

I was so surprised when I got the “we don’t negotiate prices over the phone” thing from my local dealer. Didn’t do much better when I went in either, got blown off on both occasions. Maybe they just didn’t have an order allocation for a Corvette.

Well, technically the Opel is only the short wheelbase and the Saab is a long wheelbase which it shares with the Buick/Daewoo/Roewe, Cadillac and Chevy. That’s why I didn’t say Opel.

Does it have to be new? What about a Regal GS? They depreciate like mad and you can get a nice 2014 model well under budget. Or if you wanted to step a little more upmarket a Cadillac ATS.

They all shared a platform with something else after the C900. (before that was only the 600 which was re-badged). My Saab is a GM Epsilon 2 LWB chassis, so I guess that would make it a Buick in disguise? Either way I’m fine that I have a large sedan with a turbocharged engine and a 6-speed manual.

My worst dealership story is fairly uneventful. I contacted my local Chevrolet dealer about ordering a new Corvette Grand Sport last October, both online and in person and completely got ignored both times. Who in their right mind ignores a potential sale?! Needless to say it came from another dealer about 20

You need to reference the official list...

My new(er) cars all have the clickity and dingy sounds coming from the drivers side front speaker. Disconnect that and everything would be silent.

Have you even seen what Mitsubishi is selling lately? They were on their game in the world of hot imports in the ‘90s.

3 Blue, 4 Black, 2 red and the most recent one grey. Although had it still been available for 2017, my Corvette would’ve been orange. Grey was the second choice.

I’ve had no issue custom ordering cars from GM or Ford. ‘13 Taurus, ‘14 Explorer and ‘17 Corvette Grand Sport all built to order. The Fords were easy to order, the Corvette I had to try a couple dealers to get one who would work with me.

I upgraded my 1,1 to 2,1 firmware and a T7600 C2D with the maxed out 2GB. The hard drive is the bottleneck. I think it could be livable with a SSD.

There’s an adapter to use the new 20v Max batteries on the standard 18v (NiCd or Li-Ion) so you can get the power of the new batteries!
