The further distance purchases I’ve made have been the easiest ones. The long distances weren’t necessarily for a good deal, but because of what I wanted wasn’t available local. The furthest one (1,808 miles) was delivered by truck.

Not exactly the “Jalopnik Bump” you were looking for.

I always had a soft spot for the 2nd generation Corvair, especially the convertible. They’re asking 11,900, but I don’t think 10k would be out of line for the best offer.

Really it’s not that bad.. The torque is in a very useable range once you’re out of the torque-limited 1st gear. Not to mention it’s only a few easy-peasy clicks from a Regal GS tune.

This is one of the reasons I bought one.. The looks and the stick..

GM already tried this, didn't work out well.....

So then maybe the question should be... Would you recommend this over an ELR?

I also know someone who was pulled over on IL-53 and claimed that the unmarked was an Acura. The locals in my area also have an unmarked GMC Envoy.

Is it bad that I kinda like this... I always had a soft spot for the 164 front end.

They haven’t gotten to ALL of them yet...

Now playing

I guess the driver thought they had a Fiat?

Even having a ‘14 sport w/401A since new, it’s way better than the ‘13 SHO w/perf pkg it replaced. It sounds like any ‘90s twin-turbo V6 Japanese sportscar with the Corsa exhaust system. The only thing that’s a bit odd is the spacing of the gears. It also seems to be really wide. Thank goodness for those power folding

Yes! This!

But, how about right before they’re getting replaced anyways.

Those “Triple Square” heads that VAG loves so much.

So when they say “deeply regret that this happened” they mean they regret getting caught and subsequently fined, right?

Pretty sure I was there on that corner when that happened.

Why would someone buy a 6-cylinder manual transmission F-Type that costs more than a Corvette Stingray?

The 5.3 Tahoe/Yukon have the 6-speed and the Denali and Escalade have the 8-speed.

I guess you should purchase a bracket that will properly attach your plate...
