Bioshock Infinite. I've accepted that some of the loose ends of the story are explained away given the standards of the interdimensional travel as defined in the game, but the combat is just so dumbed down compared to the original.

I don't like open world games because they put more emphasis on going through world doing menial tasks in order to make me feel more immersed. I would prefer that sidequests be relegated to side affairs and not comprise the majority of the game.
I honestly just prefer liner experiences. Nothing in any "open world" game I've ever played really grabbed me. I'd prefer to play something that doesn't want me to wander around a world doing menial tasks that don't drive the plot forward.
Not particularly. That just leads to me being called an idiot for not wanting to deal with lifeless NPCs who want me to run their errands.
I disagree. Having someone ask me to go get 20 mushrooms doesn't make me feel like I'm in the game. It makes me feel like there's no reason for it.
I absolutely hate open world games.
That is discounting all the VC games that I already bought for Wii, and games that can be found cheaper for PC (like Trine 2 and The Cave). If the Wii U is your first foray into online Nintendo, you can easily spend $80 on VC titles.
Pier Solar is coming out soon too. It's a downloadable title, but it's apparently amazing.
Do buy a shit ton of eShop cards (especially if you have access to a Wal Mart employee discount card because it actually works on eShop cards). Then buy Runner 2, Earthbound, and hoard them for a ton of upcoming indie eShop titles.
Nope. It all just depends on the crystals the padawan picks when (s)he builds his/her lighstaber.
I thought he was a mega let down after N. N's story was the most interesting of any Pokemon villain, and then we go back to "I wanna destroy the world just because!"

The fact that this isn't at the open of at least all the Sonic games disgusts me.
So glad Thor never stopped trying to catch his hammer.
This is my favorite article ever.
A console isn't next gen the second it's released. Simple as that. It can't be "next" if it's current.
So it's Sonic 3 & Knuckles then. Will The Phantom Pain come with Lock-On technology?
I honestly can't remember which I preferred. They've kinda blurred together into one extra long game, which is kinda the point. Pretty pathetic considering I played them for the first time like 4 months ago.
It seems super weird that only Oracle of Ages is offered with the A Link Between Worlds purchase. Why not one or the other ?
Such an awesome console. I've love to see some company take a unique approach to console design again and not just make a spiffy looking VCR. And yes, I'm ignoring the Ouya on purpose.
