Fire Emblem Awakening is a complete game without the DLC, and MK8 is withotu question a complete game without it's DLC, but i think their DLC is mostly fair, and MK8 DLC is outstanding for such a good price.

All Nintendo games still of today are complete when they release, the DLC is just somethign extra that you don't really need. The DLC for MK8 is amazing.. So much content for only $12, and you pretty much already got a full Mario kart games on it's launch.
