Bullshit. The dude was turning into his driveway and the dude in the truck tried to pass him on the left to shoot the gap. That was 110% the fault of the truck because he was driving entirely too fast for the situation and tried to make an illegal pass on a neighborhood street.  Fuck him, and I hope they throw the

Incorrect. He was indicating.

the speed his front blinkers were flashing leads me to believe the rear might have burned out.  but there’s still no reason the truck is not 100% to blame.

Sure looked like a turn signal to me on the Honda.

Look again. That little light below the driver side headlight is the turn signal for the 4th gen Accord

No kinda. FlyLilSebastian absolutely victim blamed.

What you said is kinda blaming the victim here... even if the driver wasn’t signalling a turn the car slowing down with its brake lights on was more than enough to alert anybody behind to slow down so it’s 100% the truck driver’s fault.

I’m guessing the difference in cost between what they’ll spend for the ‘22 and how much they can make off the ‘21 is less than they would have spent in nation-wide advertising which is essentially what this is now.

Not unnecessary, they retained a customer they would have otherwise likely lost. That is 100% worth it when they will probably lose nothing in this transaction and re-gain public trust.

The point is that someone other than the owner did this without permission from said owner. This was a dick move from the tech (and stupid that they didn’t know about the PDR).

The best fucking thing in the whole video was the (i assume) net cafe worker sweeping with a broom on a hoverboard

There’s an alternate timeline where all those stunts don’t fuck him up and where Philip Berk doesn’t grope him and I wonder, in that timeline, what his arc would have been.

I find it utterly amazing that this imbecile still has a platform.  Yes, I know its Fox and yes I know it is the GOP.  Hell, it was stated that the GOP still considers Trump the head of the party.  It speaks volumes that the GOP is so desperate to stay in power that they will embrace a fool just to keep it.

I was working as a contractor at Microsoft Game Studios several years ago, when some game studio (I can’t remember which one) made headlines by setting up a pavilion outside the Expo that included a stripper pole. I said something about that being not at all cool, and some of my (male) coworkers spoke up in defense of

In the video she asks the question, people in the crowd cheer and the men on the panel looks chastened. Then men in the audience start booing loudly and you can see the panel become emboldened to start openly making fun of her. There is a lessen here about the fact that the misogyny in the game industry is reinforced

This is a great reminder of not jumping to conclusions without having all of the facts. The cell phone video suggests a much different picture than what actually happened.

No, my being disappointed by this event does not give me cause to entirely abandon a game I mostly enjoy playing with my son on a regular basis. Because I am not a binary light switch incapable of the concept of nuance.

Speaking as someone who first played it about a year or two ago, it holds up shockingly well. Is it perfect? No, but I had a great time, and I usually can’t stand old games.

I’ve never replayed it for the same reason — as much as I loved “Psychonauts” when it came out, my experience in revisiting that era’s platformers has been awful and tarnished my fond memories.

“I choose to remove myself from criticism, while still earning money from any new Freddy’s games that come out. Conveniently, since I won’t be the public face anymore, many who might have hesitated to buy them will decide that this makes it fine to again. Even though I’ll still get the money and almost certainly still
