I had no idea what NaNoWriMo was, so I googled it, and man am I glad I did! Never knew about this resource for aspiring writers! Might help my procrastinating ass to get up and finally write something. Thank you for bringing it to my attention! And good luck!

this was an interesting read, and brings up stimulating questions, but i find it veering too far into mysticism to brace the author's lack of worldly comprehension, i hear the voice of the child, the voice of the priest, and the voice of the philosopher ... where is the voice of the scientist?

do you have a website we can peep to keep up on this project? i would love to read it, especially since you appear to have studied Byzantines at some length; the potential for political intrigue, religious conflicts, and statecraft is making my mouth water :)

i'll never get over how EEEEEEVILL this old bastard looks lol

Candy. Sunbeam. GENIUS!!!!

dammit Bob!!!

i had some dampness when i saw how sloshed Troi got in the bar :))))

sooooooo creeped out right now!!!! eeeek!

that is rough, but for me, it's the dreams where i fall in love, and then wake up heartbroken

I'm a layman too, and I gotta say, your observations sure sound solid to me, though I will leave assertion to the more learned community members. Fascinating points though.

this ties in amazingly to another article i read, about a neuro surgeon that fell into a coma, but claims he was aware for the 7 days he was clinically brain dead (his cognitive centers were totally shutdown) and had an afterlife experience

corpore-metal is right

Lovely! Maybe we can side step the whole 'continuation of consciousness' problem of mind transfer into a better body by just altering the body we already have!

i look forward to being called Terran! :)

why is this news? not trying to troll, genuinely curious and confused

i've been a pretty shy person all my life, i get shakes and shortness of breath when facing public speaking or social interactions with individuals i feel are somehow a level up from me, i have never really come to terms with it or come close to fixing it, honestly i just avoid such situations altogether resulting in

i've never been a fan of 'open world' gaming

hi there, i'm not a scientist or even very well read on the subject of globalwarming/climate change, but it's always seemed a tad hokey to me

wait so, what about this article where folks are cloning a wooly mammoth??

dayumn! always thought that Pokemon was just a story! but look! there's Squirtle right there!!!!!!
