the cash shop is only for cosmetic items, but i can't really say much about the 60$ or the monthly fee, still, they gotta recoup their costs somehow, it takes millions of dollars to launch a AAA mmo these days, especially if you take the voice acting into account (they got Jeffrey Combs ffs!)
