@kansasgirl: This is why it's good to have a doula, I think. Someone who's job is ONLY to advocate for the woman giving birth. If I ever have a kid, I'll be on that doula shit toot sweet. Because I don't trust doctors to help me make the choices I want to make, and I don't trust myself when under the

@Diziet_Sma: Right, you can say those things about any job. But when it comes to, say, flipping burgers, the stakes are a lot lower than they are with fucking shoving a baby out of your fucking body ahhhh!!!!

@grace_effect: I judge you...to be one tough motherfucker. Three days of labor? HOLY SHIT.

@Strumpet_rumpus: I thought the joke was that she's a closeted lesbian.

@FunParty1101: "My issue is, men and women are clearly different. I want equality too, we all do. But I don't understand how you can say that they are one in the same when this very blog is dedicated to "celebrity, sex, and fashion for women." Using feminist theory, wouldn't that in and of itself be sexist? Implying

@FunParty1101: My point is that why can't we celebrate our differences? In saying what you want for the future, doesn't it seem a but naive to say that you want there to be no gender? Is that really what you want? Wouldn't that be boring? Why can't we celebrate the clear differences between us and men instead of

@sazinnia: Oh I totally agree with you. And I think that this: "I'm not ready yet to take sex and gender out of the equation when it comes to talking about feminism and what it has meant historically" is really well put.

@the.schwartz.is.not.with.me.: I understand; I know very little about Egyptian politics—certainly not enough to be making any claims about various political factions and their stance on women's rights. I just wanted to point out that the name is probably telling.

@Kit Cloudkicker: Would someone who can read them please translate the signs various people are holding up at the end of that video? I'm very curious. Thanks.

@the.schwartz.is.not.with.me.: "You know where a lot of the intel about the MB being evil religious terrorists even to this day comes from? "

@Birthday Girl: This is so well articulated and something that drives me up the fucking wall as well. I hate it.

@cait98: I don't see anything. I don't get it. My mind is innocent and pure so please explain.

@sazinnia: "I think many people would agree that promoting the destruction of the male sex is both ridiculous and decidedly anti-feminist, and also frankly, not even slightly representative of the actual movement."

"f I tell you I'm feminist, what image comes to mind? Someone who doesn't shave her legs? Someone who's angry all of the time? Who wears Doc Martens?"

@FunParty1101: I agree, I think we should be nicer to men. I think that's probably the best way to get them to let us have rights and equal pay and bodily autonomy. And stuff.

Of course ultimatums are okay in relationships. Ultimatum is just another word for "standards."

@phoghat: It's good that you spend so much time with all your customers. Because if you weren't spending time with them how could you possibly know that they are just normal people?

There are signs for OptionLine all over my (low-income, predominantly immigrant and minority) neighborhood, with things like, "Pregnant and scared? We can help." It's fucking infuriating.
