More weight since theyre larger. Every pound counts. I would have been more impressed if they had made em out of carbon fiber or something light. More importantly, what does that steel widebody add to the car? Is it just for looks?
Those are terrible. Though I guess they have to work with what they have, its a school not a gourmet eatery.
He has a point though. The US has taken the cheap and easy way out for decades now instead of supporting research to make something better because it is "good enough". If it was a military gadget they would have thrown cash at it.
