By the way, Chuck to Duck: Did you read Gerber’s 70’s run of HTD as it was released? It was one of the comics that pulled me back into fandom.

What had been missing from comics was a point of entry for kids at the elementary school level. This was a step up for DC...a shame they didn’t keep it. Lots of yummy Easter eggs, too.

Absolutely. What a delightful throwback approach that book had. TAS was retro, but the characters we’re pure gold. Joker looked more like the Sprang Joker than he ever had on TV.
