You may be right. The name appears long on the grille of this one, and the Mitsubishi ones only had the 3-Diamond logo. But they do look identical other than that.
I think this is incredible, and would like to see it installed on every diesel in North America, and I think, in fact, they should be No-Charge Factory options for them!
Trail Rated and SRT Jeeps were from the Daimler era, Chrysler on its own made jeep a competitive brand, and invested heavily into them.
How did Jeep die in 1987? That's when the 4.0L I6 was introduced, replacing the shitty Chevy V6 motors, and the 232, and 258 I6 engines, which weren't as reliable. It was that 4.0L engine that made the XJ the best SUV of its era. The 4.0L lasted up until 2006, which is better than most old engine designs, but not all.…
Do the rear axle shafts turn at all when the car is moving down the road in 2wd?
If I could recommend this 10,000,000 times, I would.
I work at a Jeep dealership, and let me tell you, yes the Cherokees are weird looking, but they do look cool coming up in the dark, with just the running lights. It is on a 4 in suspension lift and a 6 inch body lift has 35 mud grip tires(1200) witch has only been on it for two months. The truck only has 48,000 miles on it. i am looking to trade it but I looking…
My only question is, Why?
I have a standard, belt driven hydraulic pump. But I do believe the new Jeeps have an electrically driven hydraulic pump, which is directly attached to the rack. You still have to add fluid, but it's a special fluid.
That might be what they mean. If it is, I misunderstood. If not, I stand by my statement, because it is possible to overboost an electric pump as well, so I assumed they meant both systems.
This answer is a lot better than the ones asking, "THEN HOW CAN I J-TURN???"
It's the fake rubber vagina of the automotive world, and there's no need for it apart from boosting even faker emission numbers.
