Are you blatantly trolling or are you actually unaware that that image is totally compressed?

The thing ignored in this article is that the mandate was entirely proper. The lower echelons have their hands tied for good reason. So you, and other journalists with an obvious agenda, can't elicit responses which can be bent to fit an agenda. I'm honestly quite stunned, as a progressive, to the bloodhound-esque

I mostly agree with all of that, so I question why you didn't just say that in the first place.

No. I don't know any neo-Nazis either, but I'm pretty sure they exist, too. I also don't know anyone with cancer (thankfully), but that doesn't mean people don't have cancer.

I don't know if you've noticed, but we live in a globalised, interconnected world. You conveniently ignored the part of my comment which directly confronted this logic. If they start including black face, do we have a right to complain then? If they decide to bar interracial marriage, on 'cultural grounds', do we have

What are you even ranting about? This is an article basically congratulating Square for including same sex marriage in a game which is going to have heterosexual marriage anyway. What's that got to do with any witch hunt? For a 'supporter of gay marriage', you've just jumped on an article to make an entirely unrelated

That's really great news. Way to go, Square.

Well, no. Because I'm not talking about the target audience for the game. I'm talking about the target audience for the alleged sexualisation.

I'd suggest if the 'target audience' a sexualised character is supposed to appeal to doesn't find it sexualised, then there is no issue. But rather someone trying to make an issue.

I always have to question how sexualised the character is when I don't find it sexualised, as a male gamer, and I don't see anyone else commenting on her appearance as 'hot' or whatever. And the only people who are mentioning that she's sexualised are the people who are saying she's sexualised and how it's a bad thing.

Thanks very much. I just left it because I had gotten so angry at being completely unable to communicate with the other fellow that I was becoming really petty. But I'm glad someone at least noticed the point I was trying to make underneath all of my childishness.

Maybe it's a British thing? When I said you surely must have started doubting him, I was merely suggesting to you that I find it very difficult to see how someone could not doubt him - not that you actually must be doubting him.

No, no, it wasn't just that. It was the culmination of women always being used like that in his games. But yeah, there's more. I feel like it's all just style over substance, too. I loved Suda, but I used to think there was substance. Surely (assuming you're a fan), you must have started doubting him on this front.

To be honest, I just couldn't take the sort of 'OH LOOK TITTIES' thing anymore. I was willing to pretend there was an irony to it in Lollipop Chainsaw, but, man, agaaaaain with Killer is Dead? And of course there's some of it in No More Heroes, too. So if it's like that again, I'll just pass.

This is probably his last chance for me.

"And you can't say shit like she's a "pair of big tits" and then go on to say "What I'm criticizing isn't boobs"."

"If a character is made literally weaker, then they are weaker, no matter what gender they are."

Er, Superman has a movie made about him. That doesn't mean he's anything more than a 2 dimensional super hero. Which is what you want Lara Croft to be. A super hero, with a 2 dimensional character, big tits, and tight shorts. That's literally what you want. You want them to get rid of this traumatised survivor,

If Drake was the one who needed the therapist and she was the 2 dimensional character, you'd all be ranting about how the patriarchy won't allow games to feature well crafted female characters.

Cringe.
