Most here seem to be assuming there was a technical problem with the suit. The linked article I'm looking at doesn't specify how the suit contributed. Maybe it was just (supposedly) psychological. We need to wait for the actual report to see.

I'm sure a lot of folks are miffed at Apple for not waving their magic wand and having a retina display magically appear for the iPad mini. Please check out Anandtech's review of the Mini for his explanation of why that's not possible in the current form-factor with today's tech.
