Dubya: I wondered where I left that!

To be fair, I have lived with gas stoves most of my life, and none of them had pilot lights - they all had electronic ignition, just like our gas water heaters. As far as I know, you can’t buy a stove that has a pilot light anymore.

It’s still debatable. Ball game are a fine example of how it’s still a roll of the dice.

I’m pretty sure the most savage way to start an email is “Per my last email...”

Be careful flashing your lights or otherwise signalling someone that they should “go first”. If you do so, and the other person then gets in an accident, you could be held partially liable for that accident because you communicated that it was okay for the other person to go.

But if you use the term “sports car” and assume they can all reach a speed of 200mph, then your assumptions are outside of the term’s usefulness. Same as if you assume a “Category 4" food is strongly linked to obesity or cancer. Instead, you need to find a different way to categorize things in a useful way.

If ever a post needed context...

I’ve tried mayo, and immediately went back to butter.  Butter adds a nuttiness from browning that mayo just doesn’t have.  Mayo really adds nothing in the way of flavor.

If my delivery man isn’t dying from heat stroke, then clearly they’re not working hard enough.

thanks. I always seek lawn care advice from professors who live in the great rural state of the bronx.

There is a temple on my street with swastikas. Nobody cares because they know its a buddhist temple. If it was just some dude putting up nazi swastikas and confederate flags I would have burned his down down while he slept. Context matters

I don’t even like the current DRS system. I’m not like outraged over it, I just think it’s a bit gimmicky and artificial. This year there were clearly tracks were DRS was a bit overpowered. I feel like it would be far more beneficial to shrink the cars back down so there is more room to pass than giving weird

Every part of this sounds dumb. The current DRS system is fine, and does a good job of compensating for the inherent advantage a lead car always has from clean air. I’d rather not mess with that, but...

It’s more of a Shelbyville idea.

I hate scofflaws just as much as anyone, but this was petty bullshit.

The startups and investors are doing funding, not the government. Where do you think the money has come from starting with day 1?

Why would you even open a hardware bin without knowing it’s what you need? They’ve all got measurement testers so you should know exactly what you need before you start looking.

The problem is in finding the optimal tour while going through every desired spot.

You forgot the most obvious one, don’t kinja me.

“Maybe your car should not rely on an unreliable outside source for daily operation?”
