You’re seriously upset that they made Monica an actually good person, capable of empathy and showing grace to Wanda? Their ending conversation is perfectly consistent with Monica’s character throughout. She’s a good person. She’s the kind of person Erskine would give a super-soldier serum to. Be happy about that.

Start slow. I’ve changed all my personal emails over to protonmail. Things related to ecommerce can continue to go elsewhere if you want, or you can migrate those over, too. I don’t want to fill that up with spam, so I may keep it to personal stuff.

You get all your news from political organizations?

Why is it so hard to accept that girls born with testicles have a physical advantage over girls born without testicles? This is the reason boys and girls have separate sports leagues.

It’s available on GOG.com

My wife, who isn’t a big sci-fi fan, watched Serenity with me without having seen the series. Immediately afterward, she demanded to watch the series.

I’m honestly surprised to hear that. I watched it with a large group ranging in age from 50 to 8. Everyone hated it. No one said a word until the credits rolled and then a dozen people all started talking about how bad it was.

As cute as the Child is, I’ve hated the idea from day one. A f0rce-sensitive child meant Jedi were going to show up. I look forward to a force-free third season.

You’ll live a much happier life if you don’t worry about the politics of actors.

There’s a Star Wars novel like that they could borrow from.

The only mortality numbers in this article would suggest to the casual reader that the mortality rate for this virus is 20+%, which it certainly is not. You’ve got to fix that.

That’s right. So amend it, don’t use a judge to “re-interpret” it to do what you want it to do.

Or we could all refuse. I mean all. If 20% refuse, then those people just won’t get jobs. But if we actually manage to stand together for once ...

Blue state Democrats are racists. Why is this news to you?

Imagine making this about politics, as if all those college kids not wearing masks and going to parties and bars are Republicans. They’ll all vote for Biden if they get out of the hospital in time.

If you’re not home, what does it matter? Do the ice cube in the freezer thing and don’t worry about it.

What do you do with families with three kids and one (or no) computer? What do you do with parents of young children who have to go to work? We need schools to open.

Children aren’t doing that badly with this virus. It’s grandma you have to worry about. They’re going to bring it to grandma’s house for Thanksgiving.

This is not our first pandemic. But it is the first one where we tried to lock everyone in their homes to keep them “safe*.” And I wonder if that doesn’t explain a lot of the resistance to everything else — you come on too heavy-handed from the start, and people just stop listening.

Thanks, but I’ve spent enough time this year searching for toilet paper. I don’t want to try out real socialism.
