This. M. Night seems strangely stuck in 15-20 years ago.

Sadly, that kid committed suicide less than a year after this yearbook photo. Made the photo a lot less amusing moving forward, especially given the whole story around it.

If Goose dies in a tragic jet canopy accident, I’m finished with the MCU.

I’d give an honorable mention to Lemire’s Royal City, which wrapped up in the first half of 2018. It ended too soon, but Lemire didn’t make it feel like a rushed wrap-up. Really great.

Lord, I hated that action figure.

Even scarier: Have to wait untold more episodes before finding out WTF happened to Maggie, plus those Michonne and Daryl stars. They waited too long on that. Now all those soap opera squabbles are going to seem pretty anticlimatic in the wake of of the All Out Whisperer War.

I think you could argue, though, that Unbreakable works better if you *don’t* go into thinking of it as a comic-book movie.

OK, but now I’m anxious for them to work through 2-3 seasons of Vision/Scarlet Witch stories so that they can phase out Scarlet Witch and then do a whole season of Vision with Tom King’s mini-series.

So, in other words, it’s like Fantastic Beasts.

Lemire’s “Royal City” would make an *amazing* two-season, 12-14 total episodes, series for one of the streaming networks.

Yep, not to get political, but the same thinking is going to bring us the “Joe Biden is the Hero We Need Right Now” narrative in 2019.

Now, as long as Disney plans to add Candleshoe and No Deposit, No Return, I’m pretty much in for their damn service.

This is a tremendous comment. Never thought that through. Also, not nearly enough kid & baby zomb-, err, walkers.

I’m not sure he ever gets off the Rebar. I think the whole episode is basically going to be An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge.

1. I think Grimes only has 1 more episode left, not 2

The Letterman comic was light fun, but why repeat the format? Do something new!

I am HERE for the final reveal in Avengers 4 that Thanos is just acting under orders from Robert Redford’s character.

I’m not as down on the second half of Season 1 as many are. Certainly Cottonmouth was irreplaceable, but I found the rest of the season compelling and thought they landed the finale pretty well. I’m just glad Season 1 exists and I think we will consider to see the influence that season had — giving so many minority

Not a horror film, but I don’t think Spider-Man Homecoming gets enough credit for weaving the fabric of smartphone culture into the plot in a realistic and hilarious way.

Oh crap. I forgot about Judith’s cough. On TWD, there can be no throwaway lines.
