Contra or Double Dragon 2. Honestly if I practiced just a bit I feel like I could finish Contra’s first level blindfolded.

Well to be fair, the professor is from Iran.
Thanks!
I’ve heard good things about KQB, but how does the 8 player local work? Is it 8 players on one giant screen? There is no scrolling right?
I absolutely agree appreciate Kotaku and others highlighting crunch in video games and agree that practices need to change.
Yup. I spent about 10 hours with Witcher 1 a few years ago when I decided to try out the franchise. Witcher 2 is SO much better and actually holds up really well. It looks great at 4K as well on modern PCs and Xbox One X.
Final Fantasy 6 (SNES mini version).
Yeah it’s not a complete loss. I needed an updated Chromecast for my non-Smart TV anyway as well, and the Stadia controller works on PC and other devices and isn’t terrible. I don’t think I’m going to continue my subscription though after the 3 months.
As a Stadia founder I believe I can credibly say that Stadia sucks. The tech is actually pretty magical in my personal experience, but EVERYTHING around this launch has been handled poorly. It’s actually kind of comical how badly they have messaged everything. 4K60? Black Friday no-sale. No codes to founders on launch…
TRUTH. I finally built a new gaming PC (last one was a 750ti) and Xbox Game Pass PC really surprised me. I have played several games with my console friends on Sea of Thieves. No need for the console version.
Yup. The second I realize that it is a cinematic trailer I just tune out. I’ve been burned way too many times. Gameplay or GTFO.
Nobody is talking about this, but the “ultimate edition” for AC: Odyssey is the same price as the console price, but you DON’T get AC:3 and Liberation remakes. Why is it the same initial price? Total crap.
Yeah the “every game at 4K/60" is a class action suit waiting to happen.
Stadia will be a case study for years to come on bad marketing and communication.
For sure. I mean I still pop a quicksave before I typically put it in rest mode, but even if I forget to do that most games have pretty generous checkpoints these days.
Word, and obviously you can’t blame that on the PS4.
Yes. They all do. Obviously if it is an online-only game like Warframe or Rocket League you will be logged out of a current session, but the game itself does not need to reboot.
I feel like there has been a ton of negative press on suspend/rest mode this generation, but I frickin LOVE it. I’ve never had any issues with it and it has been a Godsend when I’m strapped for time and can only play something for 15 minutes here and there. I can’t believe more people aren’t talking about how…
So the game is regularly on sale now for $9.99. I have no desire to play it in it’s current state, but is this perhaps a potential “make good” coming down sometime in the future? It might be good to get in on the ground floor if they end up rewarding owners of the original SKU later. Hmmm....
Well depends on whether you are on window seat. If you are aisle seat I feel there is a responsibility to at least get up when the line gets to your seat. Unless you want some stranger awkwardly climbing over you.
