I would love to see an Odyssey 2 in the Switch lifespan. Not sure if Switch gets another full Zelda game or not though. Maybe if it is launched alongside their next console or whatever.

No doubt there are people who will buy a Switch for Metroid Prime 4. But is that as much of a system incentive as BotW or Odyssey? I’m guessing it won’t sell as well as either of those, even if it is preferred game for some. I’m just pondering on whether any time in the lifespan of the Switch will produce the

All joking aside. The best days of the Switch are behind us right? I mean how do you top the BotW/Odyssey combo of the opening year? I’m not saying it won’t be a great console for years to come, but it won’t reach that peak again surely. The releases will slow down from Nintendo, the third parties will pull more

That’s valid. It should be a treat not the norm.

But this update increases the chances of finding more diverse plant life right? Maybe I just had bad luck in the initial release.

Yeah I probably only visited about a dozen planets honestly when initially playing it. None of them seemed to have too much foliage. I kinda put the game on the shelf hoping that one day it would all improve. Looks like it is time to dust it off and try it out!

No doubt on that. I’m more comparing it to itself rather than other games I guess. I don’t expect Horizon: Zero Dawn or Uncharted 4 levels of foliage detail in this.

I have a huge video game foliage fetish and was really disappointed by the lack of foliage in vanilla release. I may have to go back now that I see these sweet sweet foliage pics.

Your logic is sound for sure. Oakland’s huge foul territory and on-field bullpens certainly contributed to this problem so it is hard to give them sympathy. Great points.

I have no horse in this race, but how is this not interference? Even if he is trying to get out of the way, he doesn’t and the player has to smack the chair away while running in nearly a full sprint to get the ball.

It’s hit or miss. I think I remember getting some outfits and pistols in AC Syndicate that I used throughout the entire game. The outfits in particular had perks that no other outfits had.

I love you.

I love Club rewards for AC games. I know it kinda breaks the game, but I have probably saved myself hours of grinding by simply spending a few points on a club reward weapon that is better than anything else in the game.

Great article! NG 1&2 were some of my favorite games on the NES. I’ve found that some games over time aren’t as difficult as I remembered (Contra 1 is actually pretty easy) but NG is as tough today as it was when I was a kid. This wind level in particular gave me so much heartache over the years.

For me, plane travel is a very disciplined and sterile affair. I have a plan going in, and make sure to leave the smallest possible footprint (physically or socially) during my trip. It baffles me when the guy next to me decides to bring a giant burrito or footlong chili dog on the flight. Why would you do that to

There are certainly tons of games, particularly for people who haven’t experienced them on other systems. I guess I’m speaking more from personal experience as I played half of these games on my Wii U or PC earlier. Odyssey and BoTW stand out as the unique reasons to get the console for sure. I’ll fully admit that I’m

So is the Switch going to buck the trend of previous Nintendo consoles and actually produce constantly compelling content? I worry from e3 this year that we are already entering the famine period of this Nintendo console. I somehow always fall into the trap of thinking “but this will be the Nintendo console that has

Thanks for the help! What about the “hero’s path” part of the DLC? Does being able to track where I’ve been help me navigate the world?

I think I’m ready to buy BotW. Should I go all in with DLC included on my first playthrough? It sounds like maybe the ideal way to play?

Yeah we got Google Fiber here as well. Everything about the Triangle is growing and more and more companies are moving HQs here (particularly to RTP) so hopefully game companies will start branching out more.
