To be fair I played up until the first DLC came out. I didn’t purchase it and then fell off after. Do you think it would be possible to jump back in at this point? I’m also kind of scared of all the currencies and all other pieces of info I would need to learn to get back into it.

That’s a great take on it. I think if I were more prepared for it I wouldn’t have been as bummed. All the early demos they showed for the game didn’t really show bullet-spongey enemies. If they were to put some kind of “the infection gave these gang members super tough skin” spin on it I might have personally liked it…

My personal opinion is BS? I’m not saying anybody else shouldn’t play it. I just didn’t personally enjoy the bullet-sponge enemies. It’s as simple as that.

Yeah I really wanted to get into this series so I tried 1 but couldn’t get through it. I watched spoilers and skipped to 2 (which holds up very well by the way). Finished 3 a few months ago.

Dangit. This all seems super gross. I really enjoyed Battlefront 1 and was hoping that this sequel could knock it out of the park. Now I’m super conflicted about this game. Going to have to wait to see how this shakes out before making a decision to buy or not.
