Honestly, is Leslie Nielsen’s President from Scary Movie smarter than Trump? This is a serious question.

I assume the loading times are better as well? I remember them being crazy long on PS1.

I have google fiber and the ESPN app can barely run 1080 on any of my devices. I can’t imagine the app could handle 4k streaming. ESPN needs to do something about their app, it is garbage quality everywhere I’ve used it.

True, but would emulation be perfect that quickly? Maybe I’ve been out of the emu game for too long but it seemed like some SNES games always had issues with emulation, particularly “Mode 7" heavy games.

Starfox 2. That is the only reason I want one. I’m sure it will be a disappointing game after all these years but I just have to play it for myself. I’m sure somebody will emulate it shortly after release but the timetable on that (and the quality of that initial emulation) is full of ambiguity.

This looks like one of those things that I appreciate from a distance but wouldn’t actually enjoy playing. Other examples: crazy GTA mods, Just Cause 2 MP, hacked versions of unreleased games.

I love Overwatch so much. I can’t imagine the pressure they face with such a popular game and yet Kaplan and company always seem to look like they are enjoying their work.

Yeah the side missions got really tedious by the end. Not enough variety. The gameplay and movement were fun enough to get me through, but I hear ya.

Thanks but I think the forum here has convinced me to give it another try, particularly with this new update. I think I’ll try it on normal so I don’t feel so overwhelmed by the constant threat of death.

The problem I had was with pirates as soon as I left my starting planet. How can I upgrade if I can’t even get other planets? Would you suggest playing the game on normal before replaying on survival? I think the combination of the difficulty and the learning curve really frustrated me.

Admittedly, I did start the game on survival mode because of all the recommendations that it was the “best way to play”. I finally made it off the first planet (which was harrowing) but couldn’t travel around space without getting immediately destroyed by pirates. I finally escaped to a nearby planet and discovered…
