I'm not sure that I've seen any comparisons for the traffic density on the new versions. How much more traffic is there than the other version?

Stephen do you have any sense of why Ubisoft didn't just make Rogue the only AC game this year and let Unity be in development longer? It seems like they could have easily upgrade Rogue's visuals for current gen and released it on all 4. I'm not sure anybody would have really questioned them that much on it. I

No mention of DC Universe? I really enjoy that game and it's really fun co-op. It was one of the reasons I chose PS4 over X1.

I think the distinct factor for me and my friends in this gen was the lack of backwards compatibility. Since none of my PS3 or 360 downloaded games work on a new console there really is no "buy in" to the old brand. I've convinced my group of friends to switch completely from Xbox to Playstation simply because there

For all of those saying "Walmart deserves it" you have to understand that "Walmart" isn't the one that ultimately pays the price for this. Trust me, Walmart isn't declaring bankruptcy any time soon.

Ah. That makes sense. I guess I always just tried to grab them immediately so I never noticed.

Wait. The 1-ups in Mario 64 chase you? I've gotten 120 stars TWICE in this game and I somehow never realized this.

I don't feel dirty price matching in general if it's legit, but yeah I might feel kinda bad price matching on this kinda glitch. Particularly since somebody in that store is going to be the one to get in trouble. Sure the site made a mistake, but some manager (who probably doesnt make much money) is going to get

I'm still holding out for digital deals on Black Friday. I'm too lazy to get up and change the disc out, particularly when I'm playing remote play and my PS4 is down in the basement.

I'm really hoping for more digital sales on major releases this year. If Sony and MS really want me to buy in to their digital stores they need to start giving me some deals. As it is now my plan to go digital only for this console gen is really expensive. I don't expect "steam-like" sales, but at least try to

Anybody else find it funny that Ubisoft got in trouble years ago for forcing you to be online to play Assassin's Creed PC and now their solution is to go offline? Full circle.

Last Starfighter is screaming for a sequel or remake. The topic is more relevant now than it ever was, particularly with the rise of VR. As much as I love the original, that movie is so dated.

Ah. Thanks for the explanation. I thought 791 was the end result. Now it makes sense.

Where is the 300k damage? it says "791". I'm not sure I understand.

The sad thing is that every time Kotaku posts a "you shouldn't pre-order games" article you ALWAYS see a slew of comments of people saying "well I only preorder if X happens". They sound like drug addicts justifying something that they know is wrong. It's the same argument as "well politicians are ALL bad, but the

Great article. I would also be interested in learning more about the way in which leadership works at the company. For instance, I've personally struggled when I work in a company that has a all-powerful person at the top. Particularly if they are impulsive and don't value the opinions of the employees. Is there a

That makes sense. I'm not so much complaining about the ambition or scope of the game. It just seems like they should have had the sense to delay it. They could have simply released Rogue this year as the only AC game and let Unity bake for another year.

True. I guess I'm more referring to the obvious omissions to content that Destiny has. Its clear that Bungie launched a game that while technically sound, is missing huge chunks of content that they probably had to cut to get the game out.
