I remember the excitement of that portal opening when burning crusade came out. It was absolutely nuts as seemingly everybody on the server was there to rush in. Complete chaos, particularly on a PVP server.

Disappointed to hear that the inventory system is still such a pain. BL 1 and 2 drove me crazy with the amount of inventory management. I think I'm done with this series
Well to be fair, don't MS execs give money to Sony with every Blu Ray that is produced for one of their games?
Long read but appreciated. Thanks for writing your story!
This article just made my day! Although I did get a "Jerry Macguire" vibe out of your email. I'm glad you didn't have to meet with Bob Sugar back in June.
Its the nature of all MMOs. Raids start out as elite and require coordination, then a few months (sometimes a year) later somebody is soloing it with a higher level character. Bungie just needs to open these things up to random players already. Their "only a highly coordinated team of 6 people can beat it" line is…
No you aren't the only one. Microsoft sees it as a good thing as well.
Here we go...
This is such a great list. Thanks for writing it Kirk! The ability to pause is probably the biggest kicker for me. I play most of my PS4 gaming on remote play for the convenience of playing a few minutes at a time at any location in the house. I guess maybe it's my fault for not doing my homework before buying…
Do you think games will ever move past the "find somebody's diary or audio log to tell story" trope? I'm getting pretty tired of it, but to be honest I can't think of a better way to tell the story.
I've had this happen to me a few times. For some reason I didn't make the connection that it was teabagging! Well done Bungie.
Dangit. They are making it impossible to keep up with everything there is to experience in this franchise. I like Assassin's Creed and I've tried to play every game, but now it is becoming a full time job.
Is it some sort of AC3 George Washington thing? Obviously you can't kill Sauron in the storyline right? Some sort of "what if" or dream sequence I assume.
Just watching a few minutes reminded me of how awful the camera is in that series. There are enemies behind blind corners ALL THE TIME. In fact, you are really just battling the camera the entire game.
and it reveals the addition of 4 player strike teams right? Right?
Surely this whole thing is going to come crashing down on Sony Minecraft players at some point right? We are supposed to just trust Microsoft? I guarantee you Minecraft 2 (it's coming, trust me) will be Xbox only.
It's an open beta but you still have to pay money for any rental right? Are there any free demos or anything? I'm reluctant to pay for anything unless I know how the streaming quality is first.
How is the battery life on the Xbone controllers? I think I went through like 10 battery packs last gen. They had a shelf life of about a year and then they just simply stopped holding charge. Is it the same tech this gen?
Halo 2 doesn't have very far to fall in my opinion. I'm not sure how you could desecrate something that was such a let down to begin with. The Halo 2 ending still stands as the biggest gaming disappointment of my lifetime. As a collection it's probably fine, because you can simply load up Halo 3 and "finish the…
Am I the only one that thinks his Last of Us photos kinda suck? It seems like he doesnt understand what he is even photographing.
