Maybe Sony knows something we don't? It seems like a great deal on the surface, but I'm always skeptical of EA. Certainly the "early access" part of it is just a way to get people to commit to the game on release day, but access to BF4, Fifa 14, etc. seems promising. I don't any of those games but I wouldn't mind

I went to a high school in the 90s in the same district as TC. The school at that time had major crime issues and was pretty run down. During my senior year they weren't even allowed to have fans at their basketball games (coaches, staff and players only) because fan brawls and gang fights were a regular thing at

Any word on the free PS+ games for August? They usually announce them by now.

After playing the beta for about an hour I'm still really confused on how cooperative works. If I want to play through the campaign with my 3 friends (so 4 of us total) is it possible? Or do we have to instead split our 4 into two 2 person fire teams? I didn't notice any traditional "instanced" missions, but maybe

Clearly a double and an error there. Not an inside the park home run.

YES. Thank you for stating this. Several of these same researchers that the author dismisses are researching this very idea. Padding on the OUTSIDE of helmets has proven to be one of the most promising ideas of any helmet technology. Also, to say that current helmets that provide meaningful safety are "too large

The system doesnt already have a "low battery" warning? That seems kind of like a no-brainer. What happens currently? Does your controller just shut off without warning?

I was so excited about the prospect of EVERY X1 having a Kinect. It was supposed to usher in a new era where developers could try new things and move technology forward knowing that every single player had a Kinect. Now it is just another peripheral that most players won't have, and thus it will be designated to

You make valid points. I'm just frustrated as a huge Xbox fan and therefore being hyperbolic.

FYI. The Millennium Falcon Lego set does NOT have a hyperdrive. Batman stole it.

They should just start calling their consoles "Halobox". That is pretty much the only unique feature they have now. They play Halo games. The end.

It really has shaken any confidence I had in MS and the Xbox brand. I'll get an X1 at some point down the line, but for now I just don't really know what their true vision is for the future. I've never seen a brand get so confused so quickly after announcing/launching a new product. I bought original Xbox and 360

Getting a PS4 on Friday, is the bundled earbud any good or should I invest in something else?

Cool article. I finally got Origins from the Steam Summer Sale for $7.50 and I plan on playing it as my next game (just finishing up Sleeping Dogs first).

Enjoy! I got my Wii U with the Groupon deal a month ago. I haven't touched my other consoles since.

I was gonna wait until Black Friday to get a PS4 but that Dell deal was just too good. Thanks so much Shane!

I once rodeo'd three titans in a row without touching the ground. Doomed all 3 of them. Wish I was playing it on X1. It would have been a perfect clip for "Xbox record that".

I play primarily on the PC but I've also played it on X1 and in my experience you get shot in the air WAY more on PC with those precise mouse and keyboard players. It happens every once in awhile on console, but not nearly as much.

What about Sim You Later? It would be a game where you could just play as yourself like a few hours in the future.

Yeah plasmas just aren't very good "family room" TVs in my opinion. They are more effective in man caves and such in my experience. My brother in law had a plasma in his family room and his children left Mario Kart Wii on pause for like 8 hours one day. You can still see the faint burn in years later.
