Man that game is so beautiful. That scene in particular took my breath away when I first played it.

I've never had a crash on my iPad 3, but I will admit that things are slightly more intuitive with the mouse and hotkeys. That being said, I tend to pause the game a lot so it isn't much of a problem.

I own FTL for PC and iPad and I might actually say that the iPad version is the way to play it. Its so perfect for a quick jump through a few systems when you are on the go or just sitting in bed.

Amen Bob. I gave up on Ubi PC ports after Rayman Legends. PC is clearly their lowest priority now and Uplay is garbage.

Does anybody know if you can play 4 player cooperative throughout the entire game? I'm a little confused on this aspect and my player Left 4 Dead, Payday, Borderlands and Halo team will be super bummed if we can only play 3.

This is awesome. I got it for iOS for $1 but the controls were just too frustrating. I ran into a particular part a few hours in that I just couldn't complete with touch controls.

Darn that does sound pretty boring. Thanks for clarifying!

So what is the consequence for death in Destiny? I find that the way they handle death can often greatly effect my enjoyment. For instance, Borderlands made you lose some money, but near the end of the game that really didn't matter to me or anybody I was playing with. I like my games to give me a good reason why

So does this thing replace my apple TV/roku? I assume it has netflix, hulu, etc?

Dinklage kind of has a monotone voice as it is.

I really enjoyed this article. Thanks! I completely agree with the sentiment that gamers can be often forget the world that exists outside the "hardcore". I have 4 nephews aged 8-14 and Minecraft is still the only video game in the world as far as they are concerned, and I'm thrilled by that! They aren't

Why are people watching TV without running it all through their Xbox? Isn't that why they bought this thing?

I owned all 3 last gen, but convinced 3 of my 360 owning friends to switch to PS4 this gen. It wasn't a hard sell really.

I own both but would put the slight edge currently to the Wii U depending on your portability needs. If your goal is to just play off-TV while somebody else is using it to me the clear choice is Wii U. Also, just so you know I got that refurbished Groupon a few weeks ago (same sale) and I'm very impressed. If I

I also noticed an unfortunate lack of women in this year's NHL, NFL and FIFA games. EA Sports needs to answer for this!

I'll mark this one down in the "if you haven't already played it wait for the PS4 version" category. Otherwise I think my PS3 version is just fine. Also, as much as I LOVED Last Of Us and think it is a bellwether of video game storytelling, its doesnt hit me as the kind of game that I want to play over and over for

Spot on with Italy for sure. They are the absolute worst team in the world to watch. Their entire strategy is to put 9 guys on defense and send one up to flop in the box until he gets a penalty kick.

Is the perk 1080p?

That is so epic.

360 controller is available on almost every release now thankfully, for those few games (mostly older ones or MMOs) that do require a mouse and keyboard I just use my coffee table. I guess most PC gaming is still done at a desk, but couch PC gaming is where it's at in my opinion.
