I agree that it's an interesting idea, but at the same time companies needs to understand that their consumer base isn't incredibly rich (either in money, time, or both). Games can get expensive, quickly, if you're constantly plopping down full price. The problem gets even worse when you consider that most people are

On the other side of the coin there are games that I've bought that I never would have touched if not for a sale. I'm sure there's a happy median between two these points, though I'm not quite sure what it is.

Meh. Call me when we have a FarSight XR-20.

Except that I never stated that the internet should be free (although I do believe that IT should be free - that's another argument unrelated to the one I'm making here).

The market IS handling it. THIS is what the market is bringing. You can't say "well go to another company," because in most places there is NO other company. And if there is, they're probably going to be giving you the same kind of screw up job.

That's not human! You're not human!

Master Race Mountain is getting mighty crowded these days. I don't even know who I should be bowing down to anymore. :-(

YOU CAN TRY TO EXPLORE BUT THERE'S NO PLACE YOU'VE NOT ALREADY BEEN! HOW ABOUT WE ADVANCE THE PL...?

So sexy. I'd be all over an FFVI version with that art style.

Someday I'd like to write the objectives for stuff like this. "WALK IN THE ONE FUCKING DIRECTION YOU CA... NOOOO, NO WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING? THERE'S ONE DIRECTION AND ONLY ONE TOWN TO GO... WHY IN GOD'S NAME ARE YOU GOING THERE? YOU WERE JUST THERE! SERIOUSLY, GO SOUTH... SOUUTTTHHHHH"

It kind of looks like they shoved a few interns on it and called it a day. I'm sure the poor guys tried their hardest but what can you do?

I'd rather keep my rose colored glasses than wear whatever the fuck kind of whiskey goggles you're trying to pass off as head wear.

What I'd really like to see is for FFVI to get the same treatment that FFIV + TAY got on the PSP. I thought everything in that was done really well and tastefully.

What the fuck is an espier?

Ok, that's cool. Don't, play them?

Kudos to everyone involved. That's a pretty giant piece of change!

Dent my pscyhe, no. The onus on me is to be clear though and I was not. I'm merely debating something that I think is interesting with, hopefully, other like minded individuals that understand ad hominens do nothing to present any sort of argument. I apologize if I come off as smarter than you. Not my intent.

Normally

Calm down. Read my other response. I know I'm using an unfair term and try to clarify a bit.

There's also Destiny, The Witcher 3, and other 3rd party titles that all look appealing. All of which won't appear on the Wii-U due either to technical limitations or due to the culture of Nintendo.

I really do think what I said was unfair (what is a serious gamer?), but I mean more to state that to most people, the

Very few people. Which is part of the problem. People aren't buying 3rd party on Nintendo systems because there's no infrastructure to support them. Thus 3rd party developers don't want to put the money into it - or worse, they can't, because the system is too underpowered.
