Hey now, one of my professors used "shit ton" as a descriptor in the middle of a lecture. Everyone loved it. It was a graduate level class, but still. :P

Sizes are so weird. I'm 5'6", 150 lbs (not overweight at all) and a size 10-12.

I have them and they wake me up, but they seem to be less violent and more about school or other anxiety for the most part. I seem to remember them less often. But if I nap in the middle of the day, I get weird sleep paralysis dreams where I'll "wake up" in bed like 3 or 4 times to things seeming like normal until

I've always had violent, terrifying dreams. When I was about 7 or 8, I had a dream where I was watching two people fight in a swimming pool and as one of the people was drowning, they were turning green and then were being fed into a pit of saws feet first and shredded into pieces, the water filling with blood and I

Yeah, it was awful. I haven't even taken them yet, I'm just a first year and the nightmares are already starting, apparently. :/

I had a dream that Stephen Colbert was on my committee for my preliminary exam and failed me harshly. Kind of resented him for a few minutes, but he's too awesome to stay mad at.

I was born and raised in Florida (live in North Carolina now) and I love 90+ degree weather with maximal humidity. I always wear long pants, even in the summer. I enjoyed fall weather up here, but I did not enjoy the colder temperatures in winter at all.

I got mine from Target, too! I wasn't comfortable ordering online, so I went in store and tried things on until I found one that did support me well. Now I'm glad I didn't risk looking online, because I would not have guessed XL would be what ended up working.

I don't have much to say, but I'll cheer for you. I'm a first year PhD student (chemistry) and I've been depressed and burnt out all semester. I just started on Zoloft two weeks ago but it's probably too early for it to be helping. I have an insane finals week starting tomorrow and I don't know if I'm going to make

I'm a 30F by bra size, so I guess I shouldn't be too surprised that that translates to XL. I'd guess that the small band size is why medium t-shirts still fit me despite the cup size. Sizing by cups does seem more useful, although if they're going by a standard band size it might still make it confusing. I ended up

Good to know! I don't usually go swimming, but my honeymoon this summer will involve some beach days so I decided to start looking for something to wear today. I just grabbed L and XL to try on after M didn't fit at all, and was surprised that in the L you could see pretty much my entire breast from the side. I wish

I bought a bikini today. I like it and it fits me well, but I'm curious about the sizing. I had to get an XL to contain my breasts properly. My shirt size is medium. Something doesn't seem to add up right here. Why are there three sizes of bikini tops (S, M, L) that I could only imagine fitting someone who wears S or

Can't swallow pills because I throw up every time I try.

If I wrote in cursive on an exam, there's no way it could be legible. Lefty who was taught to write cursive the same way all the righties were, which doesn't work out well. A print-cursive hybrid is about as fast as cursive and avoids most of the annoying aspects of cursive.

I mostly do a print-cursive hybrid. But as a lefty who was never taught how to write in any different way than the righties were, cursive smears pretty badly, so cursive may be quicker to write but then I have to take the time to recopy everything, so it actually is much less efficient.

That's good to know! I'll look forward to that, then. I'm finishing up the last required classes now, other than the classes for certificate programs. I'll only need one more class for each of the two certificate programs, so that seems much more manageable than having a full load and I can just take one at a time.

My body just ignored all of the alarms I set and I just now woke up. I feel amazing. A change in diet would probably be for the best. I have days where my diet is very good...and then other days where I can't resist free pizza.

I was in the lab until nearly 1 am last night. Other people were still planning to stay longer when I left. I just hope it'll be more manageable when coursework is over.

Yeah. I like the student interaction part, but the grading especially is a huge time-suck.

Not weird when I'm this tired. I find myself wanting to just drive off the road so I can sleep forever sometimes. Most 20-somethings I know do work that hard, but I'm in a science PhD program and that probably means a biased sample.
