@Old No.7: FWIW the real purpose of that valey key in the ZR1 was to allow Chevy to claim higher gas mileage for the car, thereby complying with CAFE requirements.
@CJinSD: The reason Chevy installed that feature in the ZR-1 was that it allowed them to claim better gas mileage for the car, thus meeting CAFE requirements. Sorry, has nothing to do with respecting intelligence.
