Or he (a) moved into defensive position and (b) shifted his feet in preparation for impact with a 6'9", 240 lb man with a running start.
Honestly that’s on Lue as well. The time out should have come immediately once Smith got the rebound. He didn’t have a chance with all of GSW’s bigs around. He would have gotten clobbered and the refs were not going to bail him out.
You have to give the opponent space to land. But if the choose to barrel through you anyway that’s a charge on you.
his feet not planted firmly, still moving around
Draymond Green needs to be tossed from every game. All you know need to know about Warriors fans is that they like him.
Mostly the GOAT but also the supporting cast had some good moments.
The officials kept their foot on the Cavs’ throat.
Was that before he started dribbling out the clock? I think he made people forget it was tied.
That’s why he’s not the GOAT. Jordan and Phil Jackson assaulted the officials and publicly berated them in order to win championships. James has too much class to be the GOAT.
I think the media part generally implies sharing of memes and shit, but the key reason this is like social media is the social part.
Have you never been to Chicago and basked in the glory of the the suburbbros?
Sometimes shit happens. Like when you drive to the land and get double-fouled but neither foul is called:
Dead letters are going to be great on this one!
Getting away with foul calls allows you to completely negate Harden and Gordon’s driving ability, and takes Capela out of the game.
It’s hard to say because the Warriors blew them out twice. I think we might be seeing the volatility that comes from relying on so many 3s. That approach does have any analytical basis to it but it seems too risky unless you have the best 3 point shooters in the game.
fffuuuuuuuuuuuck who did I just root for? Quick Trump root for the Warriors
More FTA is loosely correlated with officiating quality but there are many other ways an official can blow a game.
It’s refreshing to hear somebody admit those things. I like all of the things you don’t like (I don’t like the foul-hunting, but that mindset goes back to at least Jordan and won’t change anytime soon), so we could either talk past each other or admit that we each have our preferences and that James is one of the…
He hasn’t really had many young star players to develop. The Cavs have often been lacking in early draft picks. In terms of non-stars, I think Thompson has become a better player because of LeBron, but that’s a hard thing to prove (the negative is also hard to prove as well).
