@Alex McMillan: Yes. There's a lot of universe-building in ME1. ME2 throws you headlong into that universe at a breakneck speed. And there's a lot of stuff that carries over to the sequel.

@Fernando Jorge: My backlog currently consists of Demon's Souls, FFXIII, and Bad Company 2 multiplayer. (As the BC2 multiplayer is progression-based, I feel like I need to play more to 'finish' it.) That's about it. There are games that I'd like to buy, and then play, but I don't have too many games sitting around

@Curse lily: Not one from the NES library, but I would do nasty things to get an HD Remix version of the Commander Keen games. Nasty, nasty things, no questions asked.

@ZFK: They're called Borgia messengers. They ferry money (and presumably information) for the (real-life) nefarious Borgia family, including one Roderigo Borgia, who eventually became the Pope. Anyway, killing them has no real negative repercussions, but you really only need to tackle them to get the money they carry.

@illiniphase4: Your balls must be quite mighty, as those three movies sucked a prodigious amount of balls.

That math class shadow bit was corny, but brilliant. I love good teachers.

Coach K to Butler: "I'm gon' play this Vandross, you gon' take your pants off..."

Singler is so very white. So, so, so fucking white.

@arionfrost: Some cursory research reveals that there was one guy who went on a rampage, killing seven, and two other people arrested in following years with knives on their person. Do some basic research before you claim "OMG I can't even count how many times crazy Japanese people just get all stabby all the time in

Nope! Paid some bills and other things that are more important. Saving discretionary income for the new iPhone. Hopefully iPad 2.0 is an impressive upgrade from the current one.

Owen, whether he's discussing Pac-Man's evacuations or relating an anecdote involving his father, brings a touch of professionalism and quality to the site. Owen, you do good work, sir, and you do a damned good job of interacting with the readership. Thanks for being part of what makes this site so great, and for

I miss Kaketaku.

YouTube's just introduced an ASCII option.

@Michael Gerrity: Well, Mr. Gerrity, not everyone's as brilliant as you. I did that to a teacher in high school and nearly got suspended. Trust me- it's a simple, yet devastating prank.

@bakagaijin: You could just start doing crack. It's like having Cadbury Creme Eggs all year round.

@allstaraugustine: You can bite my shiny metal ass. It's entirely subjective. There are better story-based, emotionally-driven games than the MGS series. My opinion on Final Fantasy varies between "tolerate" and "loathe", depending on which game, but a game from that series is more deserving of a place on the list

I'd toss MGS right the fuck out. Can't stand any of the games in the series. GTAIV is in my "best-of-all-time" shortlist, so it'd be up there, probably right in 3rd place behind Ocarina of Time and Super Mario 64. Tetris needs to be moved up, Super Mario Bros needs to be added, and while I don't like WoW, I see why

Not terribly worried about 24 being canned. Haven't ever seen a single episode.
