Sounds an awful lot like Activision is being dicks and Blizzard is trying to make up for it.

@Dave Pevsner: A V6 mustang?
Apparently Arizona has Wolverine for a state senator.
@dsi1: No 6970s or 580s though. I don't consider it insane until you have a system that can drive 3x30" monitors at a resolution of 2560x1600 each. Again its a good guide, but once you get up to that point you probably know what hardware to get anyway.
@Brent2828: HA awesome.
@dsi1: That doesn't have aftermarket cooling or Crossfire/SLI of the top end cards. To be an enthusiast, eg car enthusiast, I think you need to have aftermarket parts and the best hardware you can get. That is a great chart but doesn't cover the ultra high end aka OMGWTFBBQ, aka too much money.
@SkipErnst: Genius
Childhood scientist dream #37. Check.
@SoupNBread: You're supposed to make it look like its easy! Now the consolers will never see the light!
It'll be scary when the video game is judging YOU on whether you are lying ala Kinect.
If you don't include a monitor my classifications would roughly go like this:
@SuicidalEarthworm: bah my first picture link fail.
I modified a case (Lian Li PC A05) to draw air from the bottom and expel it through the top. It worked well but I couldn't put it on the floor, and had to clean the space under it because of the dust accumulation. It drew more dust into the case than my previous traditional case.
@Chewbenator: BTW I generally have something to say in addition to a link. I'm not some spambot.
Twitter messages are too short for proper citation. Too bad.
I had about 4 paragraphs written about why the plot is stupid and how China is scary, but that's about all it came down to.
Don't worry. There are people out there who think you are just as computer illiterate. I'm 23 and just started my first job as a software developer. I thought I was pretty cool with my custom watercooled and overclocked gaming machines, fixing all my family and friend's computer problems, using command line…
I was just thinking about this at work. I had been working on my posture in college and it was gradually improving. Then I started a 9-5 office job and it has been all downhill from there. I also play a lot of computer games, so it ends up I spend about 10 hours a day staring at a computer monitor. I do work out…
@HeavyHarris: nope.
