@WiFi: Had the opposite experience. The school I was in in 4th grade taught its students how to type in 5th grade. I moved. The next school I was at taught it in 4th grade. I never learned to type well. My pinkies basically only ever touch the CTRL and Shift keys. I'm now a software developer. Go figure.

Supposed to get 3-6 inches here in St. Louis. People are going crazy. Grew up in just about every state north of here so I don't start worrying till they measure it in feet.

Thank goodness. Hated the leveling system in Oblivion. I felt like I could only do things that helped me level up my character. Then I'd have to avoid sleep like the plague and never be able to level up things like alchemy without becoming a total loser when it came to combat.

@The Chic Geek: There are (literally) "Special K" versions of the CPUs that are more friendly to overclocking with unlocked multipliers. This allows a non-turboboosted overclock.

@The Chic Geek: Overclocking usually means a fixed clock. You override the settings that downclock the CPU in times of low load, otherwise you'd constantly be battling with the CPU to get it to stay at the clock you want. But all modern desktop CPUs have a threshold where they will turn off, effectively crashing…

You don't need a lot of graphics power when the screen resolution is 1024x600. So it could actually be a viable system for most games even with just an atom processor. I wonder what the GPU in the thing is though.
