I would say that in Oregon we know that OSU is not referring to the Beavers if it is national media.

I went to a tiny DIII school and their nickname had been the ‘Redmen’ but when I went there it had already been switched to... wait for it... ‘Redhawks’.

How do we know there was a ninja festival if no one could see it?

Curiously the mom doesn’t seem to work for them. Yet.

Bootstraps.

Starbucks over roasts their beans anyway, their coffee has always been shitty, so double fuck that guy and his wistfulness.

Happy to have you on the internet Deadspin, I will also support you through whatever.

Nice, I have been intrigued by these games for forever, but never pulled the trigger, will have to get this once I actually have some money!

Surely there is a hockey game or two floating around out there for folks to watch. Like the violent factor of the NFL with bursts of excitement? Why not try hockey?

I’m glad you get so much enjoyment out of telling someone they are delusional for wanting their favorite team to build a winning super bowl caliber squad around the star player that has suffered with some of the worst teams the NFL has ever seen. And you are right, CJ isn’t one of the top five receivers in the league.

Bye Felicia.

Oh I wasn’t arguing as there is nothing to argue with someone who doesn’t know what they are talking about. Hence why your comments were deemed ‘cute’. I am glad your team is so good, you should probably go on a message board for them and bear your infinite wisdom to fruit for them as opposed to commenting on a

The things you say are so cute.

I said in another comment that no NFL team can truly build around one player, a WR is only going to be as good as the arm of his QB to some degree, and if you have no defense you have no chance. Maybe my use of the words ‘build around’ was a bit too narrow minded (and brashfully typed) but he should be the focal point

And of course you start changing his role somewhat in the process to lessen his chances of getting lit up on a weekly basis thereby reducing his chance of injury.

C’mon guys, first, get a good GM that has fucking clue. Draft the LT from Ohio State (or any other rock solid LT prospect) this year with the great draft pick coming your way, move Reiff to G, where he should be anyway, make smart draft picks and savvy free agent signings over the next couple of years, augmenting both

*sigh*

Well good, because if you see my comment below than you would see I already have a better plan in place than these schmucks did. And yes, you do build an offense around the best WR to play the game if he is on your team already, regardless if he is 30.

Well, it’s the NFL, so you can never truly build around one player but he is a player that would still be the focal point of any offense no matter what team he is on, so you can at least build your offense around him. They have the decent #2, they have decent RB’s, they just need an O-line and an accurate QB.
