Looking over the entries... a lot of people based theirs on Clue. Clue is in the header image, but not mentioned in the rules...

You live SO deep in your mom's basement, your gaming rig is an Atari 2600 and a portable tv on a coffee table, tricked out with your name in Scrabble pieces.
Hmm... that brings to mind Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons, which had special little things (like the Advance Shop) that you could only access when you were playing them on a GBA.
I actually submitted a tip to Kotaku about this after getting home from the DSi event last night... The Nintendo representative there DID confirm downloadable GB, GBC, and even GBA titles.
I'm voting for snailstripes.jpg.
Trish's name is Patricia? WAY better than being nicknamed Patty...
@MrMister: At first I was just doing it to bring news to people as fast as possible... but after being beaten to the punch yet again.. I'm in it to beat Shane.
@SAKY: That wouldn't really help any. You only get in if you have an invitation; you only get an invitation if you were both a platinum member and lived in an event area at the time invitations were sent (about an hour ago). Becoming a platinum member or changing your address on My Nintendo now wouldn't help, I think.
@saya: He forgot to mention in the post, you have to be near one of the cities they're holding the events in. Orlando, LA, New York, Seattle, etc.
Haha! I (along with Benny, Timmy, and Kenny, it seems), have beaten you to a tip, Shane! You may have gotten the last two, and one three times before that, but today, today, I am the victor!
That Sakura... is that a guy?
Was this made by the people who make the real, shootable, can-literally-kill-you Hello Kitty-inspired HK47's?
With Owen moving, I wonder who will be updating with non-news this weekend...
@EaGle1337: You just send an email containing your picture to the Kotaku Contest email address... and it has to be a picture you took, which contains a Kotaku sign.
Oh, here's a free idea for anyone who wants to use it (I don't): racing stripes on a PS3 game install screen.
@Stealth_chill: ...Horizontal-striped Zebra?
Racing stripes? Hmm... I'll probably enter this one last-minute, as nothing is coming to mind.
@Chesu: To whoever happens to be reading this: I have no intention of my entry being selected, as obviously the winner will be featured in the game as something like a game box sitting on a coffee table. This was for my own amusement.
"Hazard Golf starring Matt Hazard" is worth mentioning, if only for its huge-headed sprites and bright colors that everyone hated, but it's not my favorite; that honor goes to Matt Hazard: Black and Blue. I'm not surprised if you haven't heard of it, as it was a virtual Boy game.
A lot of them are great... though on the other hand, I can't tell what half of them are supposed to be. I'll just vote for my favorite; xdoctortx.JPG.
