One of my behavior coaches was told told to “not be here after sundown” in a small Oregon town.

Because we have a system of laws in place and our justice system is supposed to be rehabilitative?

I mean it isn’t of course, but we could work on fixing it.

Our recidivism rate is far higher than other countries that actually focus on rehabilitation.

Which is why proven interventions should be used instead of this.

I’m sure this makes people “feel” good but it hasn’t been proven to work and does nothing to help what ever underlying issues are at hand.

Hey, is there data proven research and interventions that a proven to work with people who commit crimes? Yes.
