I really don’t understand the snark about Harry, but on the other hand, why should I waste my time explaining that Harry seems to have been doing worthwhile things that give him a background suited for the jobs he’s taking to someone who apparently doesn’t read the comments?

I don’t really get the snark about Harry getting jobs. Aren’t these the kinds of jobs most rich people get to stay busy and contribute, to find meaning and purpose in their lives? Harry clearly wants his life to mean something. He craves meaning, contribution, and belonging, just like most of us do. People with his

Harry is more than likely going to be a spokesperson for this company.

‘Service’. What a load of tosh.

I don’t think they’re trying to convince anyone he has a choice about it. It’s one of the British monarchy’s most foundational myths about itself, since at least the start of George VI’s reign, ‘we didn’t ask for this, but we shall bear our duty with a stiff upper lip, because we just care so too much’.

Pete Davidson has gotten court-ordered protection from the woman who broke into his family’s Staten Island home after lying about being his wife.

Does Not Feel Trapped

They need that diversity consultant ASAP. Maybe a new PR team, too.

Jezeus, did somebody really think this was going to help? Wow.

I don’t get it. What’s left to say at this point? Why does anyone think the BRF is going to change?

That interview was so devastating, I am really glad Meghan has her chickens and dogs and a nice life now. It’s funny, because Mr. Skiptheasparagus called this from VERY early, like just after the wedding he was just saying he felt bad for her and worried she would have a very hard life, I didn’t see it at the time at

The gist of white liberals making anti-Meghan comments from what i’ve seen (that are not riddled in racism both casual and obvious and misogyny) “she’s rich, why is she complaining, suffer & die in silence, no one cares”

“Rude & racist are not the same”

Harry is Diana’s son, and that carries a LOT of weight among some American women of a certain age (and, occasionally, their daughters).

You’ve got a bad attitude Meghan.”

Yeah. The only specific allegation I have ever seen was the allegation that she sent an email at 5 am, but even that allegation is not specific. Was it a onetime thing? Was it a frequent occurrence? Was she shooting off ideas and expected a response when the work day began? Did she insist that everyone be on call

Yeah, the lack of specificity really makes it impossible to make heads or tails of the allegations. There’s a lot of unspecified “confrontations” and people being terrified of her/being brought to tears/etc., but very little description of what she supposedly did to make that happen. I’ve read several articles on

Meghan’s bullying was probably disagreeing with the people that thought they knew better than her and her setting clear boundaries.

I’m not someone who believes the conspiracy theory that BP engineered Diana’s death (or even had a direct hand in it), but it’s definitely safer - given the violent history of the British monarchy - for H&M to live 5500 miles away for the next few years at least.

THIS: “It is also important to note the very long history of white people seeing just about any criticism from Black women as aggressive or “bullying.”” It is why I have a hard time taking it the bullying criticism seriously. Creating a hostile work environment is not okay but there is a big difference from creating a
