Thanks, folks! Doctor could see nothing wrong. Sent me home with some probiotics to knock out anything weird, but she said probably irritation from tree water could be the culprit. 🙄 They’re going to test the stool sample just to be safe, but it seems to be a one-time thing.

I heard about the citrus thing, but won’t adding it to the water hurt the tree? I’ve been trying to dab some grapefruit oil on the tree stand, but not enough, it seems.

I’m taking my cats to the vet tonight. When I came home yesterday, one of them had pooed on the front doormat. (Yay.) As I was cleaning it up, I realized the poo had a little blood in it. A quick google tells me it’s most likely one of a couple different eminently treatable things, but my cats are going to be 15 in…
