Stoners watch a great many things, Mr. Vamast, from grass growing to paint drying.

I understand that. But that's not the case here, seeing as how in either case 1) People die, and 2) If you DO intervene, YOU become the aggravating factor that brings about the demise of said people.

I don't think it's evil if it's an accident.

I'm a bit...concerned. Was there an opt-out for the participants of the all-male group? A way for them to say, "Hey, I don't really identify with ANY of these statements?"

Is "Islamicism" even a word? It sounds like some long-lost post-Romantic movement of some kind.

Isn't the point of fictional romance to function as an escape from the trials and tribulations of "real" relationships? When everything goes right (or wrong) in a fictional relationship, it's usually because the writer/developer wants you to connect emotionally with the characters.

I laughed sympathetically. I'm so sorry for your loss.

It's from Ghost in the Shell. That's all you need to know.

Interesting. I wonder if this would have any bearing on music mixing, particularly when doing EQ work on drums and vocals...

Because the MIDI data was feeding a native synth, either on the 64 itself or on the game. The files also weren't that extensive in terms of instrumentation, either, and had been pretty heavily compressed to fit on the cartridge.
