They should've done a better job with the inserts on the Kobe Zoom VIIs. For a shoe marketed with Kobe's signature playing style, my inside sole shouldn't have peeled off after a few weeks (and I'm not the only one its happened to, apparently).
Not the VIIs. They pinch the sides of your feet, but eventually the blisters pop and heal over so that the pain subsides.
Just buy that plastic thing you stick to the top inside.
