Yeah, my brother-in-law is an er doctor there. Very good is a little closer to the truth, the best is a stretch. I trained under John Barrett who created the trauma system in Chicago.

I’m sure they do, but if you have a critical patient, you want the in a level 1 trauma center, if possible. Then they have access to labs, imaging, blood bank, all surgical specialties and OR. I don’t see the field ever being more than a “stabilize and triage” area. Just my opinion.

Well the “talk then die” is an epidural bleed or it could've been a subdural that rebled, it really depends on his symptoms when he got off the field and in transport
