Just like those bastards did with the PS3! And then...who tried it..? Oh right, Capcom tried it with Bionic Commando Rearmed 2, got immediate backlash, the game tanked and everyone forgot about it until it became the perfect example of Sony's current policy.

I'm sorry, but so many of Microsoft's folks have said so many different things on what the rules are with The One, I can't believe anything their spokesfolks say that hasn't been sent to the New York Times and to the L.A. Times, press release-style.

It musta' been wub, but it's over now.

Same here.

Mixed messaging from Microsoft on the Xbox One?

Yeah, I'll be blown away if that PS3/2/1 game streaming thing actually works as intended on PS4. They just need to accept it and get someone to make a software emulator that runs on the 4. If a bunch of hackers in their basement can smack together a half-decent one, I can't imagine why Sony can't.

A persistent world that lives on after I stop playing my game..! My God, it's like, it's like... any MMORPG ever.

Step 1: Make a game without Gears of War in the title.

"Indie Fund is a group which invests in the development of independent video games"... okay. Either way - it's Double Fine. It's good news.

Can someone explain what this means beyond "Double Fine's next two games are getting financing?" Kellee Santiago is currently the developer relations head at Ouya - does that mean both of these games are definitely coming to Ouya or...

I thought when Double Find first went indie the suggestion was there were essentially four little studios at the company, all led by folks other than Schafer, but under his banner and with his leadership.

If you have a Vita or PS3, try Guacamelee. If you have a 360, try Mark of the Ninja. If you do not find yourself overcome with indie pleasure, get thee to a hospital, for I have terrible news - you may be dead already.

Same here, and I'm in Prairieville, Canada.

Me neither! One of this E3's interesting little nuggets!

Nuts to that - XV is the most interested I've been in a Final Fantasy game in... well, ever. The fact that it's the KH team - and that all that gameplay footage was gameplay - makes it very attractive.

Randy Pitchford is a like unto a God.

Come to think of it... that would have made me a lot less disappointed with Ascension. It always felt reasonable that the PSP games felt something like side-stories (though Barlog on writing duties helped a lot) - and that's a big part of why Ascension was a bit of a let-down for fans of the series.

The only disappointment with the Vita at E3 is that they're all games we already knew about. Dragon's Crown, Muramasa, Tearaway, Killzone, Walking Dead and Rayman Legends will all be awesome - did you see the Killzone gameplay? Turns out they weren't bullshots and the framerate is rock-solid - but Sony fans wanted to

On the 11th, I was at my local EB games to preorder the PS4. There were three construction workers ahead of me, waiting for the store to open. Two of them were preordering the PS4, but all three were preordering the One.
